I got thrush 4 weeks ago. I ate yogurt and limited my yeast a little. Didn't work. I went to a doctor and got a 7-day supply of fluconazole and Nystatin (mouth rinse) i rinse it and then swallow, which I normally do from 10-70 minutes, depending on what I'm doing. My thrush got WORSE after taking it and spread to the whole tongue rather than just the back. My throat started hurting again, it stopped for awhile. It's spreading and I need to get rid of it NOW before any damage is done. I think it spread and I have a rectal yeast infection and possibly a penile infection, the penis is just itchy and has those little white bumps, but no marks other than a little red, and my pubic area has litttttle red bumps on it. Typical yeast infection, but it's been a MONTH. I need to get rid of it. I have limited my yeast food intake to little-to none a day. I might eat a pie or a muffin. My sugar intake is limited to little to none as well, except natural sugars in fruits and vegetables. I basically live now on eggs, asparagus, onions and broccoli for the most part. Here and there I'll have some watermellon, dorritos, mashed potatoes, cereal and milk, cheese, but thats 0-1 times a day. I don't swish at the same times, or take the meds at the same time…sometimes 7 am sometimes 5 pm depends on when i wake up. i put the pill in the rinse and swallow it that way. WHY is this not going away? How can I get rid of this. I'll do anything.
