Never had sex of any kind, so obviously not an std.
After my last period, the inside of my vagina was swollen. After my period was smelly, brown discharge (just washing out the system) then stopped after 2 days. Everything is normal besides the fact that the inside is still swollen. I figured I had a yeast infection, so, I took some yeast infection medicine at night (the 3 day kind) and the next day it would swell again, then, when I ran out, no luck. Im not tender or anything, so maybe you would call it puffy? It's no where except INSIDE. I reallyyyy dont want to go and have a doctor stick their finger up there, so, what's wrong with me? (and very funny, no, I dont have cancer.)

I'm afraid that you do need to see the doctor one this one.You will be glad to get to the bottom of the problem and get over it before it becomes something even a doctor cannot handle.Infections, especially internal ones need to be taken care of.You will be glad to make some positive progress rather than just guessing.

If you are douching, that could be the problem.Douching upsets the natural balance of bacteria in the vagina. These changes make the environment more favourable for the growth of bacteria that cause infection. Studies have found that women who stopped douching were less likely to have bacterial vaginosis.Treatment is antibiotics.

You might just be allergic to scented bath products or the liquid used for washing clothes.Use non biological stuff.
Wear loose cotton underwear, use baby products and wipe your bits with a weak solution of baking soda – level teaspoon in a tumbler of water.

If you think it might be an allergy an antihistamine will help (from a pharmacy).
