i've got thick, cloudy, stringy discharge that almost looks like egg whites when they start to cook slightly (and it'll stretch like 4")… is this normal??? sometimes it's more opaque & almost looks like tissue or something (like when menstruating, only sans blood)… i thought it was a yeast infection & treated for that but it didn't effect it. i haven't had any new sexual partners for several months. i do have Mirena, and don't have periods but i suspect i still have slight hormonal "cycles"… i just don't know what this is, it kinda comes & goes sometimes…

Yep, TOTALLY normal.It's called 'fertile mucous' and happens when you ovulate.The discharge gets slick and stringy like egg white, to reduce friction and give the sperm an easy slide right up to the cervix.You'll notice that the week just before and after your period, the mucous is more gluey /pasty /sticky.At that time, there's no need to fast-track the sperm anywhere, since you're not as fertile then.But always use birth control unless you're trying to get pregnant.And when you ARE trying to get pregnant, the fertile mucous will signal the best time to make that happen.Great question, lots of women always want to know about that one…

Smelly dirty fish market floor disese better known as "yeast infection"!!. my advice is to start giving head instead of intercourse and get some antibotics to clear it up from the Dr. ok !! Good Luk!!
