Also, if I'm taking a prescription medication, should I not take Monistat at the same time as the prescription? The medicine I'm taking is for anxiety, and I can stop taking it if I need to. I'm just tired of this yeast infection…

check with the pharmacist at the drugstore about the interaction between your anxiety meds and the monistat. i don't think there are any but i am not sure. i would and have used the ovule. it is less messy. just stay flat for a few minutes after you insert it with your hips on a pillow so the medicine gets as high into the vagina as possible. check with the pharmacist for sure tho.
